Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

At Glow Mahal™, we are dedicated to ensuring your premium lighting fixtures arrive safely and securely. Because many of our products feature delicate materials like glass, crystal, and specialized electronics, we take exceptional care in our packaging and shipping processes.

1. Processing Times

Please note that "processing time" (the time to prepare your order) is separate from "shipping time" (the time in transit).

  • Order Verification: All orders require 1-2 business days for verification.

  • Standard Items: Non-custom items are generally processed and shipped within 3-7 business days.

  • Custom or Built-to-Order Items: Processing times for custom or large-scale wholesale orders can take significantly longer  4-6 weeks. Please refer to the specific product page or your custom invoice for estimated lead times.

Business days are Monday through Sunday, excluding public holidays.

2. Shipping Rates & Areas

We ship to pan-India / USA, Canada, Europe,  international countries].

  • Shipping Rates: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.

  • Free Shipping: We are pleased to offer Free Standard Shipping on orders over e.g., ₹20,000 / $500]. (Restrictions may apply for oversized or freight items).

3. Fragile & Oversized Items (Freight)

Due to the size or delicate nature of certain lighting fixtures (large chandeliers, intricate glasswork), we may utilize specialized carriers or freight services rather than standard courier services (like Delhivery, DTDC, Ekart, Blue Dart, FedEx).

  • Freight Delivery: If your order requires freight shipping, you will be notified after processing. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

  • Liftgate Service: For heavy items, liftgate service is often required. This will be added to the freight cost.

4. Delivery Times

Transit times vary based on the carrier and your location relative to our warehouse in Delhi.

  • Domestic (Pan-India): Estimated  5-9 business days after processing.

  • International: Estimated 5-10 days after processing.

Please understand that Glow Mahal™ is not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs clearance, or force majeure events.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to trace your package. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to become active.

6. Insurance & Damaged Shipments (MUST READ)

All orders are shipped with insurance. However, due to the fragile nature of our products, you must inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Refuse Delivery (if major): If the box is obviously destroyed, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.

  2. Document Everything: If you accept the package, you must note the damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves (for freight shipments). For standard courier shipments, take clear, date-stamped photos of the damaged packaging and the damaged product immediately.

  3. Report Within 24 Hours: As stated in our Exchange Policy, claims for items damaged during transport must be reported to support.glowmahal@gmail.com within 24 hours of receipt. This is necessary for us to successfully file an insurance claim with the carrier.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the rejection of your exchange claim.

7. Missing or Stolen Packages

Glow Mahal™ is not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" but reported missing or stolen. We strongly recommend using the tracking details provided to ensure someone is available to receive the package safely.
